We stayed at Hotel Manin for two days after arriving in Italy from Australia. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel has a lovely garden out the back which was perfect for my two year old to play in. The breakfast is very good and the rooms are of a good size. In the room we had, there was a shower over a narrow bath and the shower curtain kept getting stuck against us in the shower. They don't have a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea or coffee but I think this is the norm in Italy. They have a computer in the lobby for use by guests but also provide free wi-fi for a limited time. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was in a 3 days business trip in Milan. The Manin hotel is in the very centre, near to the Scala and the Dome. You can find the most interesting shops nearby the hotel. For example: Alessi, Artemide showroom, the Gallery. The hotel faces to a nice park, you can go there at the morning for a little walk. There are a little pub near the hotel and a tobacco shop. The restaurant and the courtyard is very nice in the hotel, and the breakfast is excellent. You can get juices, coffee, ham and eggs, some special cheese, breads, milk, jams, and so on. In the bar [courtyard] you can get fresh drinks at the evening. I had a little room on the 7th floor. The sight was not so good, I saw the mechanical pipes of the building from the window... But the room was OK, the bed is comfortable, there was a TV and a big desk and a garderobe. The bathroom has a toilet, a bidet and a big bathtub. The staff is very polite and helpful.
I bravely recommend this hotel anyone who wants to spend few days in the centre of Milan.

Room Tip: The rooms looks to the Manin street are better. The rooms looks to the courtyard are a little distressing, but cheaper.

The decor in our room was a bit dated, but it was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and always clean. The windows all had electronic rolling black-out blinds, which were fantastic - especially when we wanted our children to get an afternoon sleep. The location is excellent. The service was variable. On our arrival we were left waiting for some time while a problem was sorted out, which was not ever really explained. On other occasions the staff went out of their way to help us and our children.

Hotel Manin is a nice hotel, conveniently located near the fashion district, great shopping and restaurants, La Scala Opera, and the Cathedral. There is a hop on/hop off bus stop right outside the hotel's front door. We had a quad room that easily accommodated our four family members including our teenager who had her own private room within our room. The complimentary breakfast was very good and set in a wonderful garden in the back of the hotel. The lunch in the hotel restaurant was also very good. The front desk service was very accommodating (had to call for softer pillows and they immediately delivered). My family and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: If traveling with four, ask for the room that contains the smaller separate bedroom within the room.

We stayed at the hotel manin for only one night wish we had been staying longer, because it was fabulous :) Staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was in a great location close to all the best places to visit and the breakfast was beautiful. The room had air conditioning and a mini bar which was reasonable. The bathroom was ample in size and the bed comfortable. I loved sitting in the gardens at the back and relaxing I would definately reccommend this to others.
