Have had dinner here tonight and will definitely be returning tomorrow night. The food was fabulous and the staff very attentive and charming. I confess to walk past it having not seen previous reviews I would probably have carried on walking but my dad and I enjoyed our meal and evening there so much there is no question where we will eat tomorrow.

We stopped there on our first night in Milan. We so pleasantly surprised at the great food and great service. Everything we ordered was wonderful and surpassed our expectations.
When we asked for the check we were given complimentary lemon chlelo.
What a wonderful way to end our meal.
Thank you Pane e Tulipani!

We went here by chance, as it happened to be next door to the apartment we were renting. What a lovely place. Delicious flatbread under the cover charge (in addition to the bread basket) and well-priced wine by the glass. Shared the veggie antipasto to start - a large plate with grilled and sautéed-in-olive oil aubergine, courgette, cauliflower, carrots, peppers and a tomato bruschetta. Pappardelle ai carciofi and penne al arrabiata for mains. For dessert we split a lemon meringue cake. Not over-sweet and very light and delicious. Then we were given complimentary limoncello in frozen glasses, and THEN on our way out, we stopped to admire the display of grappas and our waiter appeared from nowhere and insisted we try a sample of their best. Highly recommended

This cute little place is a great find for a good selection of great food. We did not book for a group of 6 and were seated without fuss. This place does get very busy from 8pm onwards, so either book a table or get there early. Food was fresh and tasty, good range of traditional Italian pasta and pizza as well as yummy salads. The tasty garlic butter pizza is served as an inclusion ti the service charge and it's hot and tasty. Limencello served at the end of the meal for free....awesome!
