Description: Near course March 22, jap food for fans and for those approaching for the first time to his tastes Prince of Japanese cuisine, sushi and 'carefully prepared by the sushi men of Pearl Gold with fresh products. Cuts of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, sea bass (and not only) softly laid on rice, as in the classic nigiri or, in the case of hosomaki, enclosed in rolls of rice and nori seaweed. Also try the uramaki, where fish cooked or raw and 'inside and outside the rice. Among these are the pink tiger roll (with salmon and fried shrimp) and lobster roll (with lobster and flying fish roe) and emerald dragon roll (with avocado and eel). Among the many types of roll on the menu, even the futomaki : rolls more 'large, always with seaweed on the outside and two or three ingredients inside. Like California: with crab, avocado, cucumber and and mayonnaise. By eating strictly with the greedy hands temaki, with rice and fish (from shrimp to salmon roe) wrapped in nori seaweed cones.

“Well, they are also friendly!”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

Arriving at La Perla d'Oro either from East- of West direction, you will see a number of Asian-fusion-sushi restaurants just door-to-door. So: why should you choose this one, instead of one of the others, probably slightly cheaper?
Because of the quality of the food (tuna tataki is fantastic!), the fast and friendly service and a considerably good choice of wine (quite rare for a Jap rest. in Milan!).
Ambient is stylish, but not too much... I mean: it remains a place you can enjoy also with friends, not noisy and really comfortable.

“Excellent food - Superior ambience - Why aren't they more friendly?”
Reviewed September 29, 2012 via mobile

Really there is not a lot to nag about this place and we do use it quite often - even for take away.
The restaurant offers Asian cuisine including sushi although their core capabilities seem to be in the chinese area.
The food is of superior quality. Just the Chicken Satė I cannot recommend and sometimes the peanuts in some dishes seemed a bit old.
The ambience is extremely modern and very stylish - excellent for dinners.
Clearly this all has its price. This place is not cheap and in particular the drinks will inflate the bill.
Also the location is not central but worthwile the drive. Spots to put the car can be easily found closeby.
The only negative comment I have to post is about the service. Especially the owner tries to be friendly but unfortunately does not come across real and is a bit cold. For the rest definitely a place worth trying!

“Cuisine Orientale”
Reviewed January 28, 2012

The perla d'oro is a very cosy restaurant with original and stylish ambient. They do pieces of Chinese, Thai as well as Japanese kitchen, e.g. the usual sushi boat ... and they do them really well. Apart from the extremely nice owner who is at the cash counter also the rest of the service staff is extremely efficient and very friendly. The climax of all is the choice of little tarts for dessert - divine.
Not a cheap place - we paid 100 EUR, 2 adults and 2 kids - but definitely worth the money.
