It's not the first time I have been there and it is definitely not the last. Every time I visit Milan, I make reservations for Casa Tua. I simply love this Osteria, the people who run it and the food.

Lunch is particularly spectacular with the most affordable set menus one can find. Last time I was in Milan I was st Casa Tua for dinner and lunch.

The service is great, homely and friendly. I like the efficient yet relaxed atmosphere that they offer. The restaurant is handsome, warm and comfortable.

The food is spectacular. Last time I was there I had to try the Testaroli, a very old traditional way of making pasta. It was served with Pecorino and Pistachio pesto. If this is on the menu get it, it's very very special.

I also had the lamb roasted with lemon. It's rich, tasty and simply gorgeous. You can also request things that are not on the menu, we ordered a few things spontaneously.

The price is unbeatable, the food is from heaven and the restaurant and service simply wonderful! I recommend this restaurant every opportunity I get!

Enjoy!

Casa Tua is just perfect! Great food, truly italian, great quality and good prices.
The best dishes are the peposo, meat cooked with pepper and tomato sauce, and the testaroli, a tipical tuscan pasta served just with oil and grana.
The staff is so kind, the place is small and cozy and the food is very delicious!

It is always a pleasure to eat at Casa Tua. Prices are in line with the market and an efficient service. I go there with collegues, could be too basic if you go with clients.

GOOD: I strongly suggest all type of pastas and meat dishes. I love the bread they serve. Nice atmnospere.
NOT SO GOOD: very basic table set. You have to order vegetables on side and are always overprices (pay attention). Not impressed by their cakes (it is true that at least they are hand made and not industrial cakes).

We went to Casa Tua on a saturday evening without making a reservation. Which we should have done. Nevertheless, they offered us a table for two. It looks to me that Casa Tua is a sort of spin-off from the high-rated Osteria Guilio Pane e Ojo (just around the corner). The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. A must do during your visit to Milan.
