“Spacious and modern”
Reviewed June 29, 2011

Modern, with tasteful yet functional decor, you'd think this hotel was five stars rather than four. The rooms are deliciously spacey - even if you add a baby cot. The bathrooms are big too, though with showers rather than bathtubs. Wi-fi coverage was great and at high speed.
The balcony for each room is huge, but as others have mentioned, it would be nice with a chair and small table out there. The area is very quiet, and there's a nice garden with some sort of golf driving range/ sand hurdle (though I'm not sure how you can use either without putting the hotel windows at risk). No kid toys in the garden, but plenty of space for running around.
The spa/pool wasn't open yet, but was supposed to open soon.
The layout of the breakfast room is a bit silly. Narrow, one-sided access to all serving tables makes for lots of queues during busy hours (and if your table is missing cutlery, you'll need to tour all the serving tables to collect a set). The food is good (though bacon mixed with the scrambled eggs makes for pretty soggy bacon..).
Parking outside the hotel is free. The entrances are barred by automatic gates (I think you need to use your hotel card to open the gates during the night).
Note however that a card won't open the gates if you don't come with a car. If you come with a child carrier you will either have to wrestle your way under the gates or take a detour by the main entrance (which is the only one not barred by a gate).
Quick commute to the city center by subway.
Helpful and polite staff.

Brand new rooms, staff were really nice and helpful.
We had parking available (15Euro a day).
Bathrooms were clean and very modern with rainfall shower.
Tv had 50 channels, english, italian, russian and french.
We had a huge balcony.
There was also a free shuttle to the Duomo during the day.
Taxi ride from Duomo to the hotel was about 15-18Euro one way.
Highly recommend. Only hting it is missing is a pool, as Milan was extremely hot when we were there. But the AC helped alot!

Room Tip: Rooms right near the elevator a bit noisy,

Loved the hotel. Many of the staff spoke adequate or good English, particularly Denise who was very helpful. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights between arriving in Milan and going to Verona .Checkin was very efficient, wireless was free, breakfast was very good, there is a business centre with good fast computers and net access. The staff's attitude was very helpful as my wife's case followed us 2 days late (!) and they were sympathetic and available to help if required.

Room was great - decent size, had a nice wee balcony, bed was VERY comfortable, AC wasn't too noisy, no external noise. Shower was great, good TV system, not sure why Italian hotels still have bidets though !

In general the hotel is very light, airy and modern and in a decent area with a nice icecream parlour. For eating out, though, there is a better choice going back into town at night. Bottled water etc is better bought at the shops local to the hotel than in central Milan where it is very pricey.

We were concerned a bit about the location being slightly out of town but it is 5 mins walk from Turro Metro station which is about 10mins from D'Uomo and the same from Milano Centrale (main railway station). From the latter you change once at Loreto but cost is 1 Euro from either station (or get a 2 days ticket for 5.5 Euros. So, easy to get back into the city at night.

Having stayed on our way back to Milan at a hotel at the other side of the city and a bit out the Ramada Plaza stood head and shoulders above the opposition.

Room Tip: Hard to pass on any real tip on room selection.

Loved this hotel! Very new, very posh and very clean!
It's a bit away from the centre but not that far. By metro, you can reach the Duomo in about 15 mins. The Metro stop, "Turro" is a 10- minute walk away from the hotel. We used to come back quite late at night but we never felt uncomfortable during the walk back to the hotel. The street was well lit and the area around seemed residential.
The check-in was smooth and quick. The staff spoke good English. The room itself was spectacular. It was well lit and tastefully furnished. No excess anywhere. The abstract painting above the headboard gave the room a splash of colour and made it look really huge. There was also a huge balconey to step out into. We liked the fact that when we walked inside the room, the huge LCD TV had a welcome message for us. Thankfully, everything about this place is paper-less. No "clean my room" boards to hang outside the door, no "do not disturb" boards either. When you step inside, you can choose the above digitally just as easily as you would adjust the room temperature. A light on a small panel outside (next to your door) indicates to the housekeeping the preferences you set. A must- mention is also the bathrooms they have. They are huge, well- lit and the quality of soaps and shampoo they provide is really good. I also liked the fact that everything was so clean when we came back after a long day. The bathrooms were cleaned and dry, the linen was always changed and the beds were always well made. The breakfast was very good too. I would definitely go and stay here again. It exceeded all my expectations.

My and friend and i stayed here in October whislst on a trip to Milan. The hotel was pretty much new and was very well located. The metro was within walking distance, so seeing the sights was made easy. The breakfast and heart warming pumpkin soup served at the hotel was divine ;0) The hotel staff were well trained and exceptioally helpful especially Mr. Carlo. I have no complaints and would definately stay here again.

We just checked in today. Receptionist speaks fluent English, helpful and cordial. We were given a room on 3/f., tower 3. When we opened the door, I was surprised to see that the room was not made. Empty bottles and trash lied around. Sheets indicated that someone has just slept in it. We had to walk down with our luggages to request a new room as the phone of the room was missing. We were then given a similar room, but on a lower floor. No upgrade for their mistake. There are flaws with the design though it is a new hotel. Beware when you take shower, the bathroom can be flooded easily. I was expecting a copy maker, but no, only a electric kettle! No glass in the room except 2 plastic cups! Plastic? Only 1 or 2 star hotel gives out plastic cups.
Other than that, the plus are:
New room, free parking, free speedy wifi throughout the property and excellent food and service in it's restaurant

This is hotel brand new.
It is not ideally located, the surroundings are not very nice but once you are in the hotel, you won’t care.
I have enjoyed a top deal, low price and suite room : That was great.
Service is not top :
- Room service is very limited: a few salads and that’s it
- Care at front desk is not up to four stars standards, once may be choked (staff playing together and laughing rather than taking care of you, answering phone while talking to you… very surprising…)
- Service at bar very limited
Breakfast is correct.
The room was really brilliant and comfortable but wifi (which is free!!) was weak.

One night there was till very late (11:45pm) a lot of noise in front of the restaurant in the “garden” preventing from using bar or restaurant or opening windows.
