The location was great as we had to go to an Ashtanga yoga course and the hotel was 5 minutes away. Breakfast was fine. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Rooms were clean but very small and the bathrooms were a bit like an airplane toilet - furnishings are a little kitsch! I booked a double room for single use and that was claustrophobic, fortunately I wasn't sharing with anyone!!

Room Tip: Ask for a BIG room with a BIG bathroom, not sure if there are any but . . . ask!!!

The hotel five staff are always super friendly and helpful doing everything they can to make my stay a five star experience. The breakfast buffet is well stocked with freshly made indiviual coffee every morning. The rooms are a bit on the small side but very clean and well laid out and a good sized bathroom.

Stayed four fantastic nights at the property and was delighted to meet Alessio, the owner of the hotel. Alessio was extremely attentive and was able to craft shopping itineraries and "best places to visit" ideas. The staff is kind and profoundly helpful. If you have time between shopping and sightseeing, visit the bar and ask for some of the good stuff as there's everything from old scotch to unbelievably rare vodka and fantastic grappa. Thanks again guys and keep up the great work

This is a well placed hotel just outside the throng of Milan but with easy access on the metro (3 stops) placing it in an ideal location for all of the local attractions. The hotel is basic but staff are welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast is good and although a typical continental breakfast is offered there is good choice available. The rooms are clean and a reasonable size, but lack character. Although there is no swimming pool there is access to a nearby spa for around €30, which offers a nice relaxing alternative to scouring the streets of Milan. Parking is a slight issue, and there is little on street parking, though a local garage (5 mins walk) provides an alternative (although at a cost of €24 per day).

We had spent some time researching our hotels prior to travelling and Hotel Five seemed the best. It was worth it. A fantastic 3 star hotel. Excellent location close to Metro Yellow line and Number 9 tram. Really hospitable friendly staff who speak fluent English. Room was a good size. Basic decor. Perfectly clean with bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Free Wi-Fi and nice computer downstairs. Hilarious thing was finding an Irish pub across from the front door. Can not fault this hotel in any way and highly recommend to everyone.

Pretty nice room. Enough space for all our luggage. The bathroom was fairly spacious too. Breakfast was pretty good, but the room is fairly small so you may have to wait a bit if the hotel is busy. The staff are polite and friendly, what you would expect at any hotel.

We stayed two nights at the hotel and it is well located with a metro stop (Porta Romana) two minutes away that takes you quickly to Milan centre. The hotel is pleasant but the room did have a problem with mosquitos that give uncomfortable and mean bites. The hotel is basic but good.
