“Great hotel”
Reviewed December 7, 2013 via mobile

We arrived on December 2nd in Milan. After taking the Malpensa Express from Malpense Airport to Milan Cadorna Station, it was just a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Note that the hotel offered a driver at a very reasonable price from the airport to the hotel.

We arrived at 10AM and our deluxe room was already available. The deluxe room is about 34 square m and looks rather small. However, as it is winter, the large terrace is not of use. However during summer time, all the 34 square m will be used.

Please note that the room and bathroom are spacious and have a separate sofa and desk (go to google street view and enter the hotel to watch the rooms). As we reserved online on the hotels website, the minibar was included and this was really nice (including alcoholic drinks and strong drinks).

The hotel is very close to the city centre. At 7 minutes you reach the piazza della Scala and the famous galleries located at the duomo. For this price the location is amazing.

We had no trouble sleeping although the room was on street side on the seventh floor. The bathroom including bubble bath was very goods!

We have no negative points for this hotel and I have travelled a lot in Europe.

Just don't expect the 'over the top' friendliness you have in large 5* hotels. The hotel staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome but are not over the top.

Conclusion : great hotel

The location cannot be beat if you are there to attend an opera at La Scala. It's very close. The service was great, everyone was friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good as well. The room was very small though. Barely had room to walk across the room to the other side of the bed as the foot of the bed reached nearly all the way to the desk. So if you were sitting in the chair at the desk, you would not be able to fit if you were a heavier person. But the size of the room did not hinder our experience at the hotel. I used the exercise room a couple of days. I never saw anyone else there. Small but adequate.

Woudl definitely recommend staying here.
Rooms were very modern, clean and spacious enough. Bathroom was very classy.
Walking distance from most major attractions and loved the small street it was located in.
Service was very friendly and were willing to help whereever they could.
Thanks for a great stay.

Have stayed here many times and reviewed this place once before with a 4/5 rating. Will now drop this to 3/5. I think the place is not being kept up to scratch. My reasons? Not big or important, but enough for me to down grade my initial rating. For example, was really looking forward to a jacuzzi bath before dinner...there was no way the tub would retain water as the plu-contraption was broken and missing its cover. Air Con not working despite a couple of calls to reception who informed me both times the AC was on. Missing body lotions, mini bar not cooling, etc. So a disappointing stay at a hotel I initially liked. Oh, and one more thing. Ensure you get a room facing inwards. Those facing the road make for a noisy stay.

Modern boutique hotel within 3-5 minute walk from La Scala, the Galleria and the Duomo. Great soundproofing - my room was on the street but noiseless. Clean lines, no fuss rooms for singles. Only oddity was the two steps down from the bathroom (pretty spacious for a central-city hotel). Delicious breakfast with lots of choices of breads, pastries, deli meats, cheeses, eggs, cereals, yoghurt, fruit. You're serenaded by a musician even at 8:00 am! Friendly and helpful staff. Terrific value for the heart of Milan.

Room Tip: Don't bother asking for a view; there isn't any really. You might want to compare rooms. M...

A nice little hotel in a perfect, central location. Live music accompanied the breakfast!! My room was very good with a comfortable queen size bed and a desk, though not very much space to move around, and a large bathroom. The staff was excellent, kind and knowledgeable.

Nice place to stay. Centrally-located boutique hotel with very nice suites including chandeliers and unique decor.
Accommodating staff. Lovely coffee and biscuits in a good lounge. Never had a flautist perform during breakfast before!

Has a roof terrace for use in warmer months.
