“Reliable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2013

I have been going there for business lunches for years and have never been disappointed.
The atmosphere is that of a typical Milanese business restaurant : clean, no luxury. Tables are very close one to another. This is a place you should avoid if you don't want ear dropping.
The menu is basic but of good quality. Over the years quality has never lapsed.
Service is efficient and most friendly. They can cater easily for you should you eat by yourself.
A place to go if in a hurry but want a good meal.
Prices are average for the city and the place,

“Fantastic osso buco, bustling neighborhood place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

A good recommendation from the Rick Steves guidebook that came in quite handy on a Sunday night when most places were closed. The osso buco was absolutely fantastic here as was the risotto milanese. The entire restaurant was packed with local families enjoying dinner. Service was fast and friendly. The house Sangiovese rosso was a good and well priced. Overall, an excellent dinner.

“best cotoletta ever”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2012

avoid pizza or their bread with olive oil... just order the best cotoletta in Italy: it is called Orecchia di Elefante (elephant's ear)

the place is ugly with neon lights and old tables but it is somewhat traditional and a total Milan's classic.

“Good food and atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2012

We went to this restaurant mid-afternoon, so getting a table was not a problem. It has a high-end atmosphere. The waiters were attentive, though a bit stuffy. The food was good, but not the best of our trip to northern Italy.

quite expensive for the quality. Service is pushy. Very dissapointing esp after reading all the positive comments.
