The location of this place is great! Close to everything you want to do or see in Milan and a safe district to walk in the evenings. The rooms are comfortable, quiet enough considering there's a restaurant below, beautifully decorated and clean. Unfortunately, there's is NO view of any streets hence the overly decorated window coverings to give more ambience to the suite. The hosts are friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast is moderate but tasty. Difficult to get connection to Wifi in the rooms. If eating at the restaurant, be prepared for an expensive meal but delicious. I found this bed and breakfast to be extremely expensive in comparison to similar in Rome, Florence and Naples. Not sure I would stay here again because of the cost.

There is nothing special with this place except that it is in the chic Brera neighborhood of Milan. Very small place divided into two sections. It is more like a breakfast room for the guests of the hotel. OK, with the bar and small patio outside it is a little more than that. Chewing gums and candies behind the cashier makes the place look like a small drug store which I found extremely repelling. There is no ambiance. Personnel is polite and helpful. Our pasta dish was too salty, and steak was just OK. If you live in the area it may be OK to eat there, but if you are visiting Milan and care to enjoy typical Italian cuisine, think twice.

Room tip: This review is made for the restaurant. Not the hotel.

cannot understand the negative reviews. Just returned. Was the nicest hotel: the rooms were soundproofed and were so quiet; beds were very comfy and the decor is fabulous. There are only four rooms upstairs from the restaurant and though service from staff is spotty, if you are looking for a beautiful room in a great location in Milan, we highly recommend this hotel. The bathrooms were large and very comfortable, staff not always available when you need them. Our phone calls to reception were never once answered. We'd stay again!

This was our second stay at Resentin Hotel in Milano, but unfortunately we did not find the same attention for the details, atmosfere like before...
We were welcomed by the person who didn't speak English at all but luckily we knew the place, so couldn't get lost there..
In our bathroom we had three hair conditioners and not even one shampoo! The cleanliness was leaving much to be desidered...
Neither in the Restaurant we didn't find ourselves comfortable. The service was really slow, even though there were not many clients that day. Staff much less kind and less available.
They informed us that the management has been changed recently and unfortunalely we could see that... It's not a Resentin like it was before! Pity!!

I was prompted to write this review as Claudia has moved on from the management of this beautiful place. I just wanted to thank her for all her kindness and professionalism during our stays at Il Resentin.

This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. What makes it so brilliant is the beautiful decor and size of the rooms and the fantastic service of all concerned. The beds are great and the toiletries in the bathroom are the best. Every night at turn down a little note and gift were placed on our bed and this was such a special test and make you feel really good.

Brera is the nicest place to stay as apart from feeling like a local the shops in the area are really different and one of a kind, instead of all the chains when you go into the city centre, which is 10 mins. walk away.

Will only stay in Il Resentin when I visit Milan.
