“Great pizza”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

One of the best pizzeria in the navigli area...i got their capprichiosa pizza for take away, & it tasted great until the next day...the servers were friendly, spoke english, & were efficient...if i won't be able to go to naples (or if the pizza there just tastes the same as here :p), this is one of the 2 pizzerias i'd go back to :)

“Authentic Neopolitan pizza, but not that great tasting....”
Reviewed September 8, 2012 via mobile

My favorite food in the world is pizza, so finally eating the first authentic Neopolitan pizza on this trip was a long awaited moment. That was, until we ate here.

We ordered the fried sampler platter and the Capatosta. Now, it could have been we ordered the wrong pizza, because the Capatosta was very bland. The sampler was just a whole lot of batter.

Assuming i give them the benefit of the doubt and the other pizzas are in fact awesome, why make a rocket, tomato and buffalo cheese pizza your signature dish? I'll pass judgement later, but I am beginning to think the reason Milan does not have a single certified Pizza Napoletana maker is because they churn out gorgeously authentic looking but bland tasting pizzas!

“Great unexpected surprise, a wonderful corner for great and real Neapolitan pizza”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

This was the highlight of our Milan visit. In the midst of Milan what a great unexpected surprise, a wonderful corner for great and real Neapolitan pizza. The real thing in Milan, the Vera Pizza. So very close to the best ones of Napoli, that it deserves a gold medal in its own league. We had such great pizzas that the kids had tears in their eyes at the thought that they would eventually finish eating them. One child couldn’t eat any slower, just to make sure the experience would last the longest possible. How wonderful it is not to have to explain how pizzas should look and taste like, How wonderful that you don’t have to explain that Calzones are filled with fresh ricotta of the day otherwise they are not calzones. How wonderful to know that you are not alone and share with others, on this planet, the real taste and the real flavors of real pizzas. At lunch time, for two days in a row, we had six pizzas and drinks, for about 65 Euros. Great, inexpensive and wonderful.
