“Good food, but pretentious staff.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

We arrived in Milan mid afternoon and missed the typical Italian time frame for lunch. The hotel recommended this restaurant based on location and that they would serve at this time of day. Our food was quite good, however, we felt the staff was not very welcoming and appeared annoyed that we had come to the restaurant at this off time.

“Overestimated”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

We went for lunch as we wanted to see and try the famed Chef Cracco shop. We had pasta and dessert. Service good, food not so much.

The place is beautiful, the huge shop with all the goodies is enchanting, a sort of mini Fortnum and Mason, so you get carried away by the ambiance. But close you eyes and just savour what you are eating. You will find an average tasting pasta with nothing special about it. The same applies to the dessert and average espresso we were served.

There is an inverse relation between price and quality.

The shop is worth a visit but do not eat there.

“Eat not only at a lunch time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2013

It is very important in Italy, because after 14:00 most places do not serve hot meals

Excellent food. You might choose between lunch, light salads and sandwiches, prepared especially for you, or just a real great tea with deserts.

Service is excellent and, if you need, it might be especially quick

“Great place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013 via mobile

Excellent service, fantastic food (local dishes), great atmosphere. A higher end restaurant and bar located in the centre of the city near Doumo. There is also a high-end market of the same name located just around the corner with a fantastic assortment of foods. Highly recommended.

“Great quality and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 21, 2013

If you need to have a breakfast or lunch near Duomo I recommend this place. Great service (Especially there is a manager who has always good smile and offer you a great service.) and good quality of food. I I love Gelato al pistacchio of this place!! They have many type of tea and they are also good. There are so many bad place to eat close to Duomo but here you never wrong. Good atmosphere. Good cost performance. Good also for a lunch meeting.
