“Off the tourist track.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2013

This is a nice little neighborhood restaurant on the edge of Brera District in Milan. Traveling and dining solo can be daunting but I felt very comfortable here and the service was very attentive. It is not at all a tourist trap and the waitstaff spoke very little english. You could see into the kitchen as well and watch them cooking your meal. The atmosphere was authentic and the food was very good. I was brought a complimentary antipasti, had an insalata special and then had homemade ravioli which was to die for. The prices were very reasonable, 34 euro for 2 courses and wine. Definately a place to go if you want an authentic and comfortable dining experience in Milan.

“Cosy with good traditional food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2013

I'm surprised to see this restaurant get some really low ratings. We had lunch there in October and found it very pleasant - nice, old-fashioned, dark wood surroundings and good, simple food with a carafe of wine. Pasta with porcini mushrooms was particularly tasty. It seems popular with locals too. Recommended.

“Fabulous Italian hospitality and food”

Tucked away but a lovely find. Great antipasti, specialty grilled meat was definitely worth it and delicious pasta taster. Staff were wonderfully accommodating to allow our group to try different things.

“Food was good”

The food was their daily specials . Very delicious . We had the beef wrapped with mushroom and mozzarella cheese, Fungi risotto, Parma ham with Mozzarella and the scramble egg with potato and mushroom.

“Great Local Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

We visited this place in May with friend who lives in the neighborhood and I would like to highly recommend it. We ate there on a Friday nite and it was all that you would want from a genuine Italian restaurant. Can't remember what we ate but I remember that it was great.
