My boyfriend and I had dinner here around 9 on a Sunday night. It was such a nice change of pace from all the Italian food and restaurants! The staff is very friendly and warm. The food was soo good! (They do have a mixed menu with some Italian food, which is great if you have friends with you. Don't have to worry about people finding something they like on the menu)
When you walk in, they offer you a sweet treat and a small glass of milk. Then they wash your hands and sprinkle your hands with rose water. There are roses and candles everywhere. Stained glass windows and lanterns. Beautifully embroidered table cloths and beautiful silver and china. There are two floors. The second floor wraps around like a balcony above the first. In the center of the first floor is a stage that is like a runway above a fountain. The music was a nice level and had a mix of soft music. Not too dance, not too jazzy, not too Arabic. A nice mix similar to ambient. They have a nice lounge feel to the restaurant. A small but fully stocked bar. A small lounge area in the front of the restaurant for tea or drinks and shisha or hookah. A few tables and benches outside as well.
We are big fans of hookah bars, and Moroccan/Egyptian/Lebanese restaurants. We've been to many all over the US and my boyfriend has traveled often to various countries in the middle east and north Africa. So please trust me when I say we really enjoyed the food, drinks, tea and atmosphere. The hookah was really good. Not the best in the world but really good.
They even have belly dancing every night. We stayed for three hours and saw three performances. It was really nice because the girl stayed on stage, didn't "work" the tables for tips like most places and the music was a mix. Not too cheesy. She even had one song that was a dub mix.
Oh and we had lamb with vegetables, mint tea, Rossini (good but I would recommend something else) little pastries for dessert (super yummy and again a nice change from Italian, very flavorful). Overall we highly recommend it. Great for entertaining and if you come early it's even family friendly. PS... they also sell handmade hookahs.

This is a nice place if you want to go with friends and have a drink but not so good for eating...
I went with my friends a long time ago and the food was not so good and it is very pricy, you basically pay for the atmosphere...
I recommend it for a DRINK, but NOT for EATING!

Lavish interior, sadly ruined by ugly CFL lightbulbs and LCD monitors in every corner. Little money must have been left to appoint a proper cook. Most of the food was bland and grossly overpriced. Our mixed moroccan starters were an assortment of 5-6 vegetable-based salads. One was too salty, the rest were too similar, with undefined flavour, and very little use of fresh aromatic herbs. Our main dish, roast-lamb mechoui, was well prepared but came with no side-dish, and stayed on our stomach until well after breakfast the following day. The selection of pastries were stale and unappealing. Also very pricy in regards of the quality (20 Euros for 2). Service was variable depending on the waiter. One waitress was always in a hurry, slamming the dishes on the table and making us wonder why she didn't take time to tend the guests properly. Other waiters were kind.
