“Great food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

We went here to have sit down meal without having to take hours out of our day. The place was very busy, but the staff were very good. The food was wonderful and the prices reasonable. I would definitely eat there again.

“convenience without feeling conventional”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2012

We were starving, but did not want to give in to something average or ordinary. Luckily Rinascente was just across from out hotel (the Straf) On the 7th floor of the building is a whole other world of interesting quick, friendly full service open air restaraunts. Lots of local items on the menu, great selection of salads and health(er) options for lunch, slightly pricey, but it is Milan.

“Fantastic mozzarella!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

This place has a great atmosphere, as well as super fine mozzarella. The menu seems a bit small at the first sight, but when you get to it, you see the dishes are large and I got full with only a platter of mozzarella.
You can see the Duomo from there, it's a nice place to go at sunset. Loved it!!

“Top-quality mozzarella, japanese-style”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

Unusual and interesting place for a light lunch (or dinner). Several types of fresh mozzarella cheese (absolutely different from the dried version for pizza) are served in a place somewhat reminiscent of a sushi bar. One can select the type or types of mozzarella and combine them with other ingredients like vegetables, salad or cold cuts. Other foods are also available but mozzarella is the centerpiece. A good solution if one is in a hurry or on a diet. Of all the types of mozzarella, I like the most delicate, called "Paestum". Obika is a chain and I tried their restaurant in Rome, Campo dei Fiori, with equally good results

“A Dinner with a View”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2012

Went to the Obika on the recommendations from Tripadvisor and certainly was not disappointed, its certainly worth going up all of the escalators in Rinascente to get here. Brilliant view of the Duomo, very good service and the best lasagne I have ever had in Italy.
