would thoroughly recommend this place, excellent rustic dishes, the biggest cheese board selection you have ever seen, all the different wines were perfect with every dish, wine prices to suit all pockets, service was fantastic and the staff made it a fun evening....

“Good atmosphere, good wine, good time.”
Reviewed April 23, 2012

Nice restaurant in the center of Milan, it is known for its wine list and the wine tasting, done whilst you will fill up your belly!
Menu’ is a sort of degustation-carte, going from vegetables to meat and cheese, desserts etc etc, all thought to match a good wine.
A young sommelier will escort you throughout the process, he is confident and mostly, competent.
The food is not the strength of the restaurant as it is mostly there to accompany the wines, but it is overall fine, mostly the portions, abundant, as the wine you will drink..
The ambiance will inevitably be overlooked, although enjoyable, because of the soft atmosphere, lifted up by the numbers of glasses you will poor down.. but clearly all within limits.
The bill won’t be so high if we think about the quantity (and quality) of wine offered.

“Topfood in a rustic atmosphere”
Reviewed April 15, 2012

This is a top food restaurant with a very simple but authentic kitchen. The ingredients are of a very high quality. (Try the proscutto crudo...) and they have a very large choise of good wines. (Try the red Italian Amarone wine). This is a place I will return for sure!

“Excellent way of discovering italian prosciutto and frommagio”
Reviewed February 8, 2012

Excellent restaurant, the owner comes to your table to explain how it works. Basically you don't choose anything, he brings many different foods at a time. It starts with a prosecco and a white whine with a wide selection of hams (more than 8 different types), followed by a pasta and risotto and red wines. After that it is time to choose some of many cheeses they offer. All for 70€ per person. Definitely recommend for those who like hams, cheese and wine.
