“The mamma's food. Fantastico”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2012

Signora Paola commands alone the simple 13 table saloon with maestry. Prove the gnocchi and don't go way without prove the tiramissu or the crème brule for dessert. We went twice. Don't forget to make your reservation.

“Tasty genuine dinner at homey trattoria”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2012

We enjoyed a very simple, tasty dinner at this homey trattoria. It has all been said before: great food, nice atmosphere, adorable grandma running the restaurant. All at amazingly low prices, we spent only 42 euros for two including wine. Menu is fixed, no frills but very genuine. We had penne with pumpkin & Parma prosciutto followed by a tender piece of veal in herb gravy. Topped it off with a scrumptious portion of home made tiramisu.
We went back for seconds but unfortunately they don't serve lunch on Saturdays (closed all Sunday).

genuine food, honest prices, and one of the nicest innkeepers in Milan. Tiramisù is worth the trip!

“Good and simple”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2011

This could be your Italian grandmother kitchen.
There's no menu and the few things are fresh and well cooked.
The atmosphere is typical of the one of an Italian Trattoria.
Simple but still old fashioned classy. For dinner i had some lovely hand-cut parma ham, pasta with homemade bolognese sauce (excellent), pan fried veal and tiramisu!
Prices are really good and the location is quite handy.
Remember to reserve a table.

“Great Creme brule for a reasonable price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2011

This was a great, quieter restaurant in downtown Milan. The staff were very friendly to non-Italian customers and made us feel at ease.
