The trattoria is located, almost hidden, in a quiet area away from the main piazza of Stresa. It does not appear, during the week days at least, to get too busy. It has a small menu compared to some but the quality of the food is hard to beat. The staff are very pleasant and attentive and speak English. They were very relaxed about how long we stayed at our table. I chose a taglioni pasta dish with ham and asparagus for a starter and just enjoyed it so much - my best pasta dish ever. We went back to the trattoria another evening as the food was so good. They offer a house wine (0.5 litre) costing only 6 euros and both red and white wines were of good quality.
