We came upon it by accident whilst strolling through Stresa. Booked out. Made a reservation and returned two nights later.
Intimate setting if outside like EEG were.
My wife had the Carrot Pudding with a cheese sauce. It is a starter. Was light, fluffy, just the right amount of sauce so not to kill the carrot part which did not taste okie we all know carrots to taste. Delicious. Me - boiled squid in a pea pure. Tender and good.
Main course - my wife, the lamb with an aubergine sauce. Four nice sized " chunks" of lamb, perfectly cooked, the sauce delicious. Me - guinea fowl stuffed with foi gras and a lovely sauce. Delicious - I know some will not eat foi gras because of how it is made - I have it once in a blue moon so am not riddled with guilt.
Pudding!! Mmm. Me - hot chocolate dessert - moist outside, chocolate sauce burst or broke out of it, but I managed to catch it before it could escape - delicious.
My wife had passion fruit compote over white milk ice-cream. Tart, tangy, she could not wipe the smile of her face.
