Visited this restaurant on Sunday afternoon. We had the desire to enjoy a relaxing Sunday meal in beautiful surroundings that is Stresa. The ewaiter was keen to show us to a table, he failed at that point to manage our expectations that they were closing. The waitress came to take our order, we asked for 2 minutes to finally decide; she told us then kitchen was about to close and we must order at once. The food was delivered faster than a McDonalds, along with the bill and then the waiter asking us pay and go as they were closed. We asked to use the toilets and were refused as they had already mopped the floor.
As I said nice food and service Basil Fawtly would be proud of.
