One of the best hotels I have ever stayed! In wonderful olive gardens, near to the old centre of Sirmione, with lake view. Very helpfull staff, very charmy rooms and very very very good restaurant. I recommend half-board - you will enjoy a very tasty 5 course menu in the luxury restaurant or on the terrace. Hotel staff pamper you with small presents like sweets before sleeping or 5 o´clock tea. Perfect, romantic and very friendly hotel!

Excellent! Hotel, room, breakfast, surrounding, reception, restaurant, garden. Simply splendid. Beautiful scenery over the lake. Tranquility, a few hundre meters from exicting Sirmione. A was treated like a millionair.

We found the staff at the hotel extremely friendly without exception. Upon arrival we were shown to our room, which had only a shower, I had asked for one with a bath and they changed it without complaint. The room was delightful, a lovely light yellow on the walls and the furniture was white, which made it a really bright room. We had a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and lake, gorgeous on a warm evening just to sit outside and watch the boats and lights in the distance. We spent seven days here and in that time managed to completely relax, then on to the next stage of the holiday whch was a lot more frantic, at times in the second stage, I wished i was back at The Olivi, swimming in the grgeous pool and enjoying the complimentary afternoon tea. I had thought the hotel was directly on the waterfront but it is set back and up a hill, this allows for lovely views, but may be problematic for people with disabilities. A meal in the restaurant is a must, excellent service and the specials were wonderful both in quality and value.

This was my first time to Sirmione and I don't think we could have picked a better hotel! Great location, just north of the town centre (more private area but easily walking distance) which gives you permission to drive your car through during "open traffic" hours (otherwise you need to park outside the town and walk). The grounds are filled with beautiful plants and flowers (including 100-yr old olive trees) and the swimming pool is large and quiet. Our room was small but perfectly furnished all in shades of white with lovely sheets. Swimming pool towels were provided (large and soft) and, saving the best for last, the staff were extremely helpful, informative and accomodating.

Stayed at the Olivi for a week. Had a lovely room overlooking the poolside and lake. Only 1 drawback to the room was it did not have a bath, just a shower. Well established garden layout, very relaxing seperate outdoor areas.
Good variety breakfast buffet, staff very attentitive. Food in the restaurant in the evening was top class, and they added extras for free. nothing was too much trouble.
If you want a relaxing time in an excellent part of Sirmione then choose the Olivi.

My husband and I were in Sirmione for a wedding and chose the Olivi due to its location and price. We visited some of the other hotels in Sirmione where other wedding guests were staying and were very glad we had chosen Olivi. I cannot say enough about how helpful the staff was. Alitalia lost one of our bags and although they said they found it the same day it was lost, we had a terrible time getting them to deliver it to us. If it wasn't for the ongoing help of the Olivi staff in tracking it down with the courier company, I don't know if we ever would have gotten it back.

Our room was nicely decorated. The air conditioning didn't work well so the room was always somewhat stuffy which is definitely our worst complaint about this hotel. The pool was beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing there after a day of walking around the town and the ruins nearby.

This hotel is a bit old fashioned (ok, right - it's more like being in a time warp, and find yourself in the 70's, even if in a very well maintained building) but...the service is excellent, and everyone will make their best to make you feel confortable. It's a perfect place for relaxation in Sirmione, and obviously most of the guests know it: it seems that many repeat their stay. Breakfast is excellent, and the quality of the products they offer is very, very good.
