The restaurant is situated on the lake side with uninterupted views of the lake and mountains. The terrace offers shade and a leisurely lunch. The cooking is to a very high standard.

Chef was amazing, front of house was a poor show.

On arrival, we were pleasantly welcomed but unfortunately throughout the rest of the evening there was no apparent Maître d' or skilled front expertise to host the duration of our visit.

When selecting from the menu there was no sommelier or wine flight to match dish selections; no wine recommendations whatsoever. We had wine list, a rather heavy book of c. 94 pages, however there was absolutely no guidance to navigate and find an appropriate choice.

Throughout the evening, we seems to have to ask continually for drinks. Rather than having an attentive host serving the table; we almost had to serve ourselves on a few occasions.

Our table had lovely sea views but we found a dirty table cloth on arrival; drops of olive oil on the white linen. After being served with some flavoursome home baked bread, served warm with local
olive oil and balsamic vinegar, we needed the cloth to be changed.

We asked to change the table cloth, initially they would not. In the end, they only put a napkin over the mess.

In general terms, the service was not congruent with level of food that was being produced by the chef. The seafood was far superior in mastery skills than the approach to meat.

The service from the front of house was sterile, not a personable experience and you could pick on the negative energy of other tables having similar issues.

They were disorganised and lacked sharp edges that the service needed of a Michelin star restaurant that you would expect.

In my opinion, this restaurant is lacking the criteria of a complete dining experience that is Michelin Star-worthy; only the chef and his personality shone.

We could hear that the couple behind us we timing and had waited 1 hour and 9 minutes to receive their first drink.

Not even a whiff of even an offer of a lemon cello to seal the night, which is the local staple of pretty much every restaurant within the area.

We were not even asked about dining experience when leaving and paying the bill. In fact, it felt like we were completely snubbed by the complete "front of house" on the way out of the restaurant.

Dinner on the terrace in this elegant restaurant Spectacular location, classy service, amazing food, huge wine choice - a book... literally, exactly like at Tour d’Argent in Paris- but.... really pricey.
Two second course - fish- a mixed salad, one dessert, a bottle of wine, a bottle of fizzy water and two espressos cost us 180 euros. Some very unusual starters and also some special mini desserts came along on the house.
Still my husband and I both think it’s worth it and would recommend it if you are looking for a pampering treat

Oh dear. We should have paid attention to the reviews. What a shame that a restaurant that promises so much is let down because the Chef forgot to put our meal in the oven!! Couldn't get a table until 9.30, ok, after the main rush, took order at 9.45, very nice amusee bouche and bread and our main course arrived one hour later! Baked Sea Bass fillet, takes 0 minutes to cook! The Chef personally apologised and his reason...we had a lot of orders! Oh well, the food was good, the service was good but oh dear they have to sort out the kitchen.And to top it all, the vegetables we ordered arrived 10 minutes after the main course. Credit the maitre'd, he apologised and didn't charge us for the food but the experience was spoiled

Not a Michelin level restaurant. We have ordered Chef’s surprise menu. It took 2.5 hours to get through it with the most of time spent on just waiting. Nice starters, but the main courses were disgusting - a thick piece of roasted pork fat and a roasted fat of a lamb. The explanation from the waiter “the chef is always experimenting” does not compensate for the cheap ingredients of the pricy menu. Finally the desert plate was full with simple mini biscuits made and shortcrust pastry. The real value of 250€ menu for two persons was below 100€. Uncomfortably long waiting time. Incomprehensible service. Never ever.
