Semi-formal garden layout on a series of terraced walkways overlooking Lago di Como, with a flat area by the lake shore which is dominated by an enormous magnolia tree. Plantings are largely sub-tropical and southern European with a mixture of trees and shrubs interspersed with flowering plants (roses, agapanthus, etc). Dogs on leads and well-behaved children are allowed.
