First time in Lecco, staying for Italian Grand Prix. Great resort and Hotel only 5 minutes walk from Centre. Staff very friendly and attentive. My wife has dietary needs and the staff were tremendous in providing choices which were suitable. Breakfast was very good with wide choice. Rooms clean and worth paying small upgrade to lakeside view.
Resort well located for Monza and Milan as well as being on Lake Como.
Would definitely return.

This Hotel is situated in a very lovely area of Lecco, just outside of the main town, approximatly a five minute walk to the square in central Lecco with lots of restaurants and shops. Also the train station is situated close to the square and has regular trains into Milan costing €7.00 return taking about 1 Hour. Also you can buy a daily travel pass for the Metro in Milan for €3.00.
The hotel is very clean and modern. Upon check-In we was greeted by Silvia who was very friendly and helpful.
We had a standard room which was very spacious, had a balcony, fridge and a large Bathroom.
The only One thing that could be better at this Hotel is the breakfast. I really enjoyed it, however my partner was not that keen.
Silvia the receptionist was always very helpful and accomodating, she helped us make some enquires and gave us accurate direcions to an excursion.
This holiday was absolutly amazing and we would greatly recommend this hotel to others. Looking forward to vsiting the Italian Lakes again and definitely this Hotel. Definitely 4 Star.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon (no complimentary add-ons).
- Good breakfast although exactly the same options every day. Scrambled eggs were not good!
- Clean and tidy rooms although there was a strong smell of cigarettes in our room.
- Staff were generally okay, Celeste was exceptionally helpful.
- Great location and walking distance to key local attractions

My partner and I spent seven nights at the hotel in a standard room. The hotel is located by the river and close to all amenties, including shopping and rail and bus stations within five to ten minutes walk. It's a great location to base as it is easier to explore all the three lakes with easy access to transport systems.
The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best we had in Europe. They provide good selection of pateries, fruits, cold meat, cheeses, drinks and hot buffet.
The room was clean and spacious and we had a lovely view overlooking the river, bridge and the mountains. We booked our holiday through Fleet travel. The whole experience was wonderful from start to finsh. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We rate this hotel 10 out of 10.

Tired after a long day?
Craving for a comfortable bed to relax?

Stay there!

Even if it's a business hotel, it's perfect to relax.
The rooms are spacious, clean and absolutely quiete (even on street side).
Style is out of the nineties. Bathroom is well equipped standard.

Even if you love your bed. And you will. Go to breakfast.
It's worth the trip. Especially the fresh juice.

The frontdesk is friendly and very helpfull.

The Hotel is located at the estuary of lake como.
Old town of Lecco is within walking distance (5-10 minutes).

Over all: Non exceptional hotel, but perfect beds, with good breakfast.

A last minute decision to visit the Lake Como area meant that the more popular haunts such as Bellagio were full (unless one was prepared to pay exorbitant prices). We therefore took a risk and booked the Pontevecchio in Lecco and overall we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the accommodation. The hotel is a modern, business style venue about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Lecco. Rooms are large, well furnished and clean. Reception staff were particularly helpful. On our first evening we enjoyed a meal in the hotel's restaurant - a particularly good pasta starter.

Breakfast offered a very good selection (including some hot items) but throughout our stay the hotel was very busy and the staff had difficulties keeping everything stocked up. One waitress was very adept at wheeling a service trolley at break-neck speed through the throng.

There is very limited free car-parking on site but a nearby multi-storey car-park was avoided because of the ludicrous charges. However, we never had any problems finding on-street parking.

Overall we felt the Pontevecchio offered very good value for money.

Lecco itself is probably the leasty tourist town on the lake and all the better for that. Within easy reach were all the main attractions including Como, Varenna, Bellagio etc. In addition there is a direct train service to Milan. The airport at Bergamo is about 45 minutes drive.
