The welcoming and first course was good but the main course was a disappointment. The waiter totally lost his attention to us and rarely even looked at our table. The steak and risotto were served in very cold dishes so they became cold very quickly. To our question "Why the first course was served on pre-warmed plates and the main course is served on cold ones?" the answer was literally "Not to overcook the food by the heat of the plate" which is of course complete bullsh1t. The taste was imbalanced, especially of the risotto due to overuse of pomegranate juice. As an addition, we visited the restaurant in the end of January and it was unacceptably cold inside, even though there definitely were ways to heat up the place to af least 20°C. My verdict: Come here for pasta, wine, atmosphere and romantic conversations but do not dare to come for a proper meal.

I was not wowed by this place. The atmosphere was a little too modern for my tastes. Plexiglass tables and chairs. We were told we could sit anywhere we liked upstairs, as they were having a large group on the first floor. We sat upstairs alone for most of the dinner. We were give a complimentary glass of prosecco and an amuse bouche, which was nice. The menu was rather limited. For an appetizer we opted to share the oysters, which were 30 euro. We figured they must be pretty good to be at that price point. The were just teeny, tiny raw oysters. Disapppointed. Our meals were fine but not memorable in any way the waitress was very friendly. I felt sorry she had to schlep up and down those stairs all evening! Had many great meals in Como, but this wasn't quite up there..

Where do I begin? From the amazing food, to the fabulous ambience and fantastic service, we have nothing but accolades for this place. It’s a good thing we came before Michelin did, or we would never had gotten a reservation at this intimate bistro. The food presentation was aptly matched by the taste explosion. Each dish was unique, original and flavorful. The owner/host made our experience unforgettable. His wine recommendation was on point as well as the free prosecco and amazing amuse-bouche of tuna, mango and passion fruit. The menu was heavy on seafood, which was phenomenal, but we had a vegetarian and a non-seafood eater in our group. The chef made them special vegetarian items, not on the menu - equally elaborate and tasty. Highly, highly recommend and hope to come back to Como and eat there again.
