This is a smallish restaurant that serves wonderfully fresh and delicious seafood. You can walk over to the glass encased fish and select the one you want. We loved the branzino al sale and I had an exquisite start of grilled scallops with a light and simple tomato sauce on them.
The atmosphere is casual but more upscale than most osterias in Italy. The pastas and risottos are also primarily fish based. The owning family is a delightful Pugliese family and this is the kind of restaurant that one would find in Milan and not a smaller town like Como.
