We drove from Zurich via Como to Bellagio. The trip was somewhat daunting as the road is very narrow but so picturesque. Bellagio is a truly beautiful place and our B&B, Antico Pozzo, was a great choice. Our room was clean and spacious and the location is right in the heart of the little town. The ferry terminal is at the end of the "street" which is a decent ascent but this adds to the charm of the region. Excellent value for money and the staff were extremely helpful. Car parking is available close by. 10% discount for the restaurant below which served great food.

Stayed here for a weekend. Nice location, not the best view though (from the room called Studio for 3)

Amenities wise, you get everything you'd expect. Its a great deal for the money, nice, clean, good service and staff. Great place to have as a base while exploring Bellagio

We took the train from Milano Centrale to Varenna (The scenery by train is not to be missed. Sit on the LHS) and arrived in Bellagio late morning via ferry. We had suitcases so had taken the advice of an earlier reviewer to walk up and along the roadway at Via Roma. The steps are pretty hard to handle.

Checked in at L'Antico Pozzo Restaurant Pizzeria in front of the apartments without any trouble at all, up some stairs to Apartment 2.

What a brilliant location, amongst all the cute little shops and restaurants, Gelateria del Borgo (Yum) and Caligari Elementari deli/supermarket (YumYum) in Via Roma and a few minutes walk to the laundrobar.

Our blue Appartment, was spacious with a decent size bathroom, a comfortable large bed, couch, table and chairs, a well equiped kitchen and although we only used coffee cups, wine glasses and the odd plate for our sandwich (Excellent cold meats and cheese from the Deli) it was handy. Perfect for a small family.

We had a view across the rooftops and a side view from the bathroom to the mountains.

We ate twice at L'Antico Pozzo Restaurant, each time inside the enclosed area. Good food and good service at fair prices. On our third night we ate at Terrazza Barchetta. Don't.

We stayed 3 nights and loved our time in Bellagio and highly recommend Res. Antico Pozzo.

Their website to look at the appartments is
http://www.bellagioanticopozzo.eu/
however we booked on a popular booking site as it was easy.

Have a drink under the Wisteria trellis on the lakefront at the Florence. Gorgeous and no cover charge.

Take a day trip by bus to Como or if travelling to Switzerland leave Bellagio by ferry to Menaggio across the lake and by bus to Lugano.

We stayed in February, 2013, for one night.
The room had a lovely view, and was nice and warm.
The only criticism is the price.
90 euros for an off-season room (we were pretty much the only tourists in Bellagio, which, however, made us feel like the peninsula is ours :) ) is quite a bit of money.
It is close to anything you may possibly need in Bellagio. The personnel is very nice.
It would be nice to have a bit of coffee in the room, as there is tea, sugar and milk.

Room Tip: Room N.6 has a fabulous view to the lake. :)

We stayed in room # 2. Our room was very clean, simple, and tastefully decorated, but nothing fancy. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was decent, but was made up of 2 twin mattresses put together. Our favorite thing about this place was that it's location was perfect! Away from any noise, but very accessible to the center of town.

They did try to give us a different (lesser) room than the one we had reserved at first, but when we insisted on the room that we had reserved, and they gave it to us. We also had to remind them about the discount for paying in cash.

Belllagio is fantastic, but if you are looking to save some money, stay across the lake in Griante or Tremezzo and take the ferry over to Bellagio. Bellagio has more things to do, restaurants, and shops, but the best hikes are on Griante and Tremezzo's side of the lake and there are nice things to do and see there, too. The ferries run very regularly.

Room Tip: Room #6 has a full view of the lake. We couldn't stay there, but Room # 2 has a nice view of th...

These apartments are a perfect base for a stay in Bellagio. Just a few minutes walk from the lake and the main street in Bellagio the room we had (no 2) was a good size, clean and well equipped. It's worth remembering that it's not a hotel so there are no frills or reception services but it offers a central location at good value. The food in Bellagio was excellent, we particularly recommend the Hotel Splendide for a lakeside lunch. The highlight of our stay was an evening cruise with Bellagio Taxi Boats.
