We stayed 3 nights and it was amazing. The service was outstanding. The location was incredible. We had a gorgeous corner room with great views. We could shut the doors at night and sleep in silence with the double glazing. It was a highlight of our trip. We will definitely go back. Thanks

We stayed at this lovely hotel at the end of May for 3 nights. Because we were here for the longest portion of our trip, it really felt like home and we were so sad to leave. The owners couldn't be any cuter and any more friendly. The wife even turned my kids on to a site for custom made Converse selling for $150 a pair which they loved. We really felt like a part of the family as they served us gelato even after closing or gave us drinks from the bar after telling us they were closed. What a surprise to get our two White Russians we were craving after missing the deadline of the bar closing. Certainly don't take advantage of their kindness but know that if they see an opportunity to serve, they will go out of their way to be sure you have all that you need. In addition, we had a fabulous room with a balcony we could have thrown a party on for 20 people, great view and great place to hang out. The location is the best in Bellagio and the restaurant for dinner was so superb that we ate their twice. Service again was outstanding. The only negative is that the wi-fi isn't as good in some rooms as in others but that kept us in the lobby getting to know the staff and getting to know the other hotel guests. Incredible stay, would go back and spend a week here for sure!

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms with the balcony, amazing and huge. Our corner room had an extra bedroom in the ro...

Reception staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is super but there is early morning noise in town which i am sure u would hear from all hotels at the lake side. We had family room, the second bedroom came in handy to put clothes and suite cases otherwise we would have struggled with just our room. Bathroom was big but had a very small shower why had they not put a larger one in as there was plenty of room. We ate in the Resturant one night, food was very good, but the public toilets was nasty, smelly just absolutely dirty. The bar was one of the nicest places to have a drink but the service was slow and ask several times for the bill. I would recommend this hotel and Resturant. I would give this hotel 3.5 stars, Belliago for me was the prettiest, most beautiful town on the lake. I would also like to say the Resturant staff r very nice.

We were lucky enough to have a top floor room with a front facing balcony - and it was amazing. The view was incredible, and we even had fireworks over the lake on our last night. The staff are the friendliest around, so helpful. Breakfastis delicious, and the restaurant is quite good (although not the best around).
HOWEVER - be warned that it is noisy. You're right on the lake, right in front of where the ferries come in. Lost of whistles and horns. The building is also quite old, so you hear a lot from the corridors. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Thanks to all of the positive reviews here on TA, we chose to stay at the Hotel Metropole for our five night stay in Bellagio. We could not have been more happy with our choice. While we had asked for a lake view room, they didn't have any, but did put us in a side room with a balcony to the side of the lake. We spent many hours sitting there watching the street, and on Friday night, listening to beautiful jazz music at a restaurant across the street. The room was large for Europe, and it was spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was decent (and included). The WIFI signal wasn't the best, and the bed was very firm. But otherwise, it was absolutely perfectly located, and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Ask for a lakeside room if available. If not, the side rooms have balconies to the street and near l...

Had a wonderful six nights staying at this hotel which sits right on the Bellagio lakefront. Our room was beautifully situated right at the front of the hotel and our balcony looked over the majestic mountains and Lake Como. The room was very clean and comfortably furnished. The staff were excellent especially at reception. One night on our way out to dinner I asked them a question and when I came back they had a printout telling me all I needed to know, that is service. Breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the lake, wonderful!

Stayed here for our Ruby wedding and had a balcony looking right down the Lake. There was snow on the surrounding mountains when we arrived at the end of May and it slowly disappeared by the time we went. Lovely little town with cobbled streets but some steep streets to get to the top!
Nice small hotel and great breakfast with plenty of choice.
