Really nice hotel, stayed in room number eight on the first floor with a stunning terrace so who needs a room with a view. Will definitely be back there. Staff really helpful and friendly with some good advice on where to visit.

Room 8 a terrace room with large bathroom and wood floors in room instead of carpet. Bed linens ironed; room kept immaculate. Paola and Timothy the best. Helped make our stay enjoyable. This hotel way above other three star hotels in Bellagio in my opinion. mwalker

We upgraded to a room with a view of the lake. What an incredibly nice room with a great view. A good breakfast and free WI-FI is included. We were here on a few days when it was close to 90 degrees so we were grateful for the air conditioned room. From the reviews it is not clear if all rooms are air conditioned—so I would suggest you find out beforehand if your room is air conditioned do if that is important to you. They confirmed this for me by e-mail before I booked. So many comments about the shower—and yes a shower curtain would be welcome and could be easily installed—but here is a solutio that worked for me. The shower handle disconnects from the wall—so make sure the water is just directed towards the wall---- just turn your body and not the water handle there will be no messes. The staff was very helpful in this family run hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to others----- but read my review about the hotel’s restaurant—great food and views—terrible service and expensive. As much as I can recommend the hotel I would suggest other restaurants. There are a ton of restaurants with great views in Bellagio.

Room Tip: 1. It gets hot in July make sure you have a room with AC if important to you. 2. Request a room wit...

We just got back from Italy, our last stop was Lake Como. we stayed at this Hotel in Bellagio.
We were very happy with the hotel. Amazingly located right as you disembark the ferry on the main street of Bellagio. The staff was very helpful and nice; especially the owner - he really took time to answer our touristy queries.

The room we stayed in was a superior with partial lake view - very nice except the bathroom had a very tiny bathtub with no rain shower. A bit inconvenient to bathe with a hand held one!

Overall a great experience. We totally recommend this one. May choose the same hotel if we ever go back!

Our first stop for 4 nights on a recent trip to Italy, the Hotel was fine, the lady that greeted us upon check-in was very unenthused and offered no assistance with what to do & where to go etc. Luckily with a wedding to attend and friends in the town, we were excited to just get out and get going anyway, but still... The nightstaff & the girl who checked us out made up for the first.
Our room #23 had views to the north ie. the lake and Grand Hotel next door, and was not too bad, not too big either but I suppose that's what to get in an old building-adds to the character. Bathroom was ok, not having a shower attached to the wall was annoying, not the end of the world for me but my 6'3" other half had issues...!
Breakfast was what you expect in an Italian B&B, sufficient and the breakfast waitstaff we encountered are a highlight to start the day with!
If ever we return to Bellagio, we'd consider staying again, but wouldn't be the end of the world if we couldn't.

After an eventful ride to get to Bellagio, we were so happy to find ourselves in the incredible and quaint Florence Hotel. We had a gorgeous balcony overlooking Lake Como and gorgeous accommodations. Looking forward to returning.

Room Tip: Request a second floor room facing the lake. You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I only had dinner at the hotels restaurant that is outside on the lake we didn't actually stay there but the restaurant was recommended by locals in the area. The food was delicious and very nicely presented, the portions are relatively small but the quality is great, the waiters were very polite and the view was really nice overlooking Lake Como and the mountains, the food is a little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area but I guess your paying for the view. Overall it was a very nice evening and would recommend the restaurant.
