“Cozy, cave like Cantina!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2013

Wow! What a place! On this very wet and cold day we arrived in beautiful Bellagio and it was only two minutes later that we stumbled unto the charming entrance to this bar. We thought a glass o wine would not be a bad idea given the weather. Well, we spent the next two hours in the little but well suited bar. Not only very good wines but also heaven for cheese and cold meat lovers! We had a platter of mixed cold meats and cheeses with a tray of bread from different areas of the country and tried two red wines and a sparkling. The big green olives... To die for! The ladies attending the place, very knowledgeable and super friendly. They spoke good English too. The owner is a sommelier who is present every day in the evenings. Place is spotless. They do private wine tastings and dinners for up to 40 people.

“Wonderful atmosphere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

I was mind blowing when first stepping in to this little gem, the surrounding and atmosphere is just perfect! Great place meeting up with friends for a after dinner chat, love their snack especially the cheese with honey dipping. Needless to comment on the wine, you just won't get disappointed!

“Can't wait to go back!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

We spent an amazing day in Bellagio in August 2012, exploring the cobbled streets and relaxing on the steps with our feet in the lake. Our day was rounded off perfectly by a visit to Enoteca Cava Turacciolo. The food was fantastic and each course was complimented with a different glass of wine. The friendly staff explained (in English for us, but also in other languages for other guests) the background behind each wine, and the reason it went with the food so well. We're not wine experts at all, but could taste exactly what they were talking about. The atmosphere in the cellar was wonderful, very laid back. We can't rate this place highly enough, and have not stopped talking and reminiscing about it since we got home. We are returning to Lake Como this summer and cannot wait to visit Enoteca Cava Turacciolo again with our friends. :-)

“The best wine bar in Bellagio”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2012

After finding this place we visited it twice in one day, it was that good. Ok, it was raining, but Bellagio is full of bars, restaurants and little shops - you won't struggle to find things to do and places to visit whatever the weather. They stock and serve some great local produce, both food and wine, and since it is an enoteca you can buy a few bottles if you find something you like, or order it to be sent straight home back in your home country. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, service is good and the wine even better!

“Not to be missed!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2012

Recommended by Tripadvisor followers we went to this great place for lunch!! What a treat - the staff were pleasant helpful and looked like they really enjoyed their job. We had the wine tasting menu (3 white wines) which were great and tapas (beef carpaccio and cheese and honey) - AMAZING! We were staying near Como and vowed to be back a couple of days later. Unfortunately the Bellagio boat was full so we missed out :( You have to go if in Bellagio. We loved it and we are fussy!!!
