“Best meal we had in Bellagio!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2012

After eating at the lakeside restaurants for 2 nights we decided to try this Trattoria which is only 1 minute walk from the lakeside. We found very friendly and helpful staff and enjoyed the best meal we had in Bellagio (and better than our Venice meals as well). The quality and presentation of the meal was excellent. Our meal included a main and dessert as well as wine and cost €57 - much less than our other meals in Bellagio. We found the lakeside restaurants to be overpriced and impersonal so this was a refreshing change. We would recommend you taking the 1 minute walk.

Delightful people, fresh cooked simple local food, not for a special night out but excellent value, good for families and a very short walk from the lake front

“Not at the top of my list”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2012 via mobile

The interior was clean and the service was fine. My husband ordered spaghetti bolognese and he said it was okay. I ordered lasagna and I definitely would not recommend it. It was like mush. I don't want to be rude and I know the owners work hard to run their business, but I would recommend other places above this one.

“Best food at best prices!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2012

Don't let the simple interior or low prices fool you. This mom and pop owned restaurant serves up fresh pastas, vegetables and meats. Better food than other highly rated and high priced competitors. Full meal including wine under €50. You will not be sorry and will probably go back for a second meal. We did!

“OK but some details...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2012

We had a light lunch there, the pasta (spaghetti with pesto sauce), the risotto and the lasagna were OK, but the rice (just boiled) with filets of fish was too simple and scarce (the fish filets) for the 12 euros it costed. The most weird thing was the green salad: a small bowl containing just shreded leaves of lettuce, nothing else, that costed 4 euros (see the attached picture as a reference). The whole meal of 4 dishes, 2 beers, one bottle of water and 4 coffees costed 70 euros.
