“I know it's not authentic Italian...”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

but I was craving Wiener Schnitzel and they had it and it was really good. The french fries were only mediocre. The house white wine was a good pinot grigio that I would happily drink again. The bruschetta was really well done and that and the wine bumps this place from 3 to 4 "stars". My husband had a fried fish platter that was good...not amazing...but good. The tiramisu was also quite good....not the best I've ever had but decent.

“Nothing special”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

I agree with many of the previous reviews that the restaurant is quite decent, but nothing special. Not worth a late night dinner.

“Decent Meal”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

This place is about half way up the steps, it doesnt have a patio or a view and its very modern-so much difference from anywhere else we ate. We had a late lunch there and there was only one other group. Service was just okay and I thought the food was decent, but there were much better places to eat for the price.

“An amazing modern restaurant”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

The food was absolutely fabulous. The owner came around and chatted with everyone, as well as making good suggestions on wine. When we returned the second time, he remembered us and gave us a discount. We would come back here any time, and recommend it highly. Everyone speaks English, but that's pretty common in Bellagio. The menu items were quite imaginative--even dishes you've had elsewhere were done differently here, and routinely better than most other places.

“Fabulous Restaurant”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

A modern, mostly sea food restaurant. Nice, minimalist decoration. We started with the beef tartare, and it was excellent. This was a bit of a surprise in a sea food restaurant. For the main courses, the sea food soup--like a bouillabaisse but with more seafood and less liquid--was excellent. The underlying broth was incredibly good. The mixed fried fish was also spectacular. The fish was local and fresh, and the coating was so light as to be almost invisible. The final product was light, and not at all greasy. We were almost blown away by it. One of the four of us also had a filet of the local fish, the lavorella. It was nice and light, not fishy at all, but did not quite come up to the high standard of the other meals we had.

The wine list was good, and reasonable choices were available. We were too full for desert, but they looked good. We were so impressed by this restaurant that on our last day in Bellagio we went back again. The food was, as expected, great again. The seafood salad appetizer was great, and the local fried fish was outstanding. Again,we tried the seafood soup (zuppa de Far Out) and again, it was to die for. Be sure to save a roll to sop up the remaining juice under the seafood.
