Recently stayed in Bellagio for 7 days as part of our Ruby Wedding. Having read the reviews of the multitude of restaurants available in the town we decided to follow our noses.
The Carillon was close to our hotel which was important as it was raining heavily.
When we arrived without a booking we were asked to wait as the place was full, however this was only for a few minutes and then we were shown to a table for two.
Service was excellent despite the number of diners . The food was beautiful and hot despite having to be carried across the street from the kitchen( I wonder if they have ever lost a waiter in a traffic accident?). The table adjacent to ours was reserved for a party of 22 which we decided was a good sign. Across the restaurant was another family party of around 12 Italians who obviously ate there regularly.
As i said the food was very good but whatever you have make sure you have the home made Tiramasu which is exceptionally good.
We did return to the Carillon on another evening and tried different courses plus the tiramasu . Again the food and service was of the highest quality.
When staying in Bellagio you must give the Carillon at least one visit.
