Happened on this restaurant as it was very close to our hotel.
Our meal was so good and our waitress so friendly that we came back for two more meals.
Soup was great and the Risotto ai filetti di pesce persico nostrano was fabulous.
Had to wait quite a while to be seated at dinner time, but sat right down at lunch.
Definitely recommend Barchetta.

This was a super find just walking around town. I think we got lucky getting in without reservations. It seemed to fill up right after we were seated. Great menu with plenty of options. The food was fantastic and the staff was extremely friendly. This is definitely worth a try if your in Bellagio for a few days.

Followed trip advisor review and found this delightful restaurant. Cool & relaxed setting and from our table a peek view down the cobblestone street to the lake. Staff friendly & good natured as they happily struggled with their English given our very basic Italian. The mixed salad, risotto milanese and gnocchi bolognaise were well presented & delicious. The wine the maitre'd suggested complemented the food well. Restaurant prices.

Even though cold and blustery, I had a wonderful lunch on their (heated) patio. It was a quiet day, and the owner chit-chatted with me for a while in between glasses of white and a sampler of smoked fish pate's, etc. from the lake.

the etched wine glasses added to the beauty, and I can only imagine how divine this spot is on a warm, sunny afternoon.

We had scoped out this restaurant earlier in the day while we were shopping. The menu looked good, so we decided to come back for dinner. Got there at 7:30p, which is early for dinner in Italy, but there were already two large tables and one small table that had been seated. We ordered the mussels appetizer, which was superb and entrees of veal scallopine and lamb shank. Both were perfect! Accompanied the meal with a bottle of the restaurant-labeled Barolo, which was also very good. Finished off with the two house specialty desserts with some after dinner drinks and left thinking that we'd come back for dinner again tomorrow. We've been in Italy for two weeks now (on a three week trip) and this was one of the best meals that we've had. Yes, it was expensive (about 135 euros for the two of us, including wine), but it was MUCH better and less than half the price of the over-rated and under-performing Mistral in Bellagio where we ate last night. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
