We had a lovely lunch at this restaurant while staying in the Lake Como area. We were told to go here by some fellow travellers on the ferry and we are very glad that we did. We had a nice walk through the gardens before lunch as it's a little out of the main Bellagio tourist area (not sure how difficult it would be to walk around the gardens as the gardens cost 6.50 Euro to enter). Once at the restaurant it was nice to see plenty of locals/Italians and not just all tourists. We were seated (with no reservation) and immediately offered a complementary glass of prosecco which was a nice touch. We started the meal with the local fish tasting plate which was amazing and beautifully presented. We were sharing the starter as we weren't too hungry and when it came out it was already divided by the chef which we thought was extremely considerate! We then had the cheese and truffle risotto. Everything on the menu sounded fantastic and we had a lot of difficulty choosing. Service was good compared to most of the service we had in italy. Would definitely go back!
