Wonderful experience. Multimedia, display and big effects! Thank you Cremona. I play my violin with a bow: but nothing inside the museum talk about it, it is so strange.

If you are not a musician and specifically a string player, don't bother spending the money for this museum. My husband loved it as he plays violin, I found it a little boring as they just have the violins in cases with no other information. They do have a person who plays one of these old violins each day at 11am so be sure to get a ticket from the bookshop near the square. The tourist office will tell you where to get the tickets. Be sure to look around the building as it is wonderful especially as they still use it for council meetings.

The Stradivari Museum is one of great beauty and intrigue into the history of its making. Truly beautiful collection of instruments and details.

A great collection of antique violins and a very interesting display showing how a violin is made. Some weeks one of the old violins is taken out and played. You must get tickets in advance and seating is limited. Check with the Tourism office.
