Description: Gigi e Alessia welcome you to this restaurant very typical, informal but nice and elegant. Very local cuisine with a careful and passionate quest for raw materials. Particularly noteworthy are the selection of meats (Rabbit, Sheep, Beef, Pork and Cure Meats) and cheeses. The fish (Salmerino, Lavarello Persico, Agone) is provided by Ceko, fisherman of Lake Como. Among the specialty fresh pasta and homemade ravioli. Large and sophisticated wine list. The restaurant is mentioned on the Slow Food guide "Osterie d'Italia"

Fine Italian food in a nice atmosphere.
The menu is not very wide and maybe they could have some out of the menu dishes (depending on the season)
They also have a very decent wine list.
All the sweets seemed to be done there !

We were passing thru Bergamo and after a wonderful drive by in the old town found this place from trip advisor. It is in the middle of nowhere but as city is small it took 5-6 min to drive this quiet street.

We tasted a wonderful italian beer nazionale. Had great pasta and artichokes. They were also very kind as we arrived minutes past closing time they still accomodated us.
Overall definitely a recommended place

Excellent food. But not only. This is a place where you get the good food, perfectly prepared and seasoned and served as should be. Then you get the amazing service. Not only, the passion and detail of the good explanation and origins of cheeses and wines is impressive. Worth the walk since it's a 20 min from Centre. 10 Points.

I came once to eat here and after short time I came twice knowing it would have become one of my fav places to have dinner in Bergamo.

Very good food, accurate selection of km zero cheese, meat, vegs and other ingredients such as flour...and wine! Local dishes with an eye for quality and detail and a deep passion for things done well with care and attention.

Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere plus tasty desserts to be enjoyed with Moscato di Scanzo wine make the place not to be missed.

And after lunch a walk to Astino Valley and its Monastery and hills is all the best you can ask (beyond Città Alta...20 mins on foot).

Have been here with my mother for dinner. We had a really good 3 course dinner menu accompanied with nice drinks. the dishes seem to be based on local specialities but got that extra touch on it. We only haven't been absolutey satisfied by our main course as both dishes haven't been seasoned enough. But anyways, it tasted good an we had a great evening.
The location is a bit outside the center, but it is easy to reach by bus.

We would reccomend it.
