Da Franco is regularly our first stop for a quick, casual bite in Bergamo. It is a bustling place with lots of staff and speedy service. In Summer there is a little terrace out front and inside a very nice space. The menu is quite extensive and strong on Pizza but I would recommend the oven baked aubergine with melted cheese (the name escapes me) and the Spaghetti Pomodoro is really good. The bread is baked on the premises and served with very good Olive oil.
