Cece e Simo hotel was the most hospitable place I`ve ever stayed in. It has a cozy breakfast room, with a terrace...my perfect place to stay. Our room was also the only room in the hotel which had direct acces to this terrace. So if you are a fan of terraces, ask for this room. Simple and minimal furniture, a joyful bathroom dye, an extremely friendly staff, good and quite location, a red fridge...you will never want to leave:) Just be careful not to overcrowd your trip schedule so you can enjoy some relaxed time at Cece e Simo.

Had such a great time staying here, B&B is clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. Had a problem with our shower and addressed it to lady at the reception, it was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Restaurant which belongs to B&B is also very stylish with great cuisine. I recommend to their steak which melts in mouth as well as steak tartare, which is prepared right in front of your eyes and tastes out of this world. Definitely the best ones I ever had and yes I'm very fussy when it comes to my steak! If I ever go back to Bergamo I will be staying right here. Such a great value for money, in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. Just a ten minute walk from the city centre, 20 mins to the funiculare which takes you up to the old town and 20mins from the train station. Forget Milan, Bergamo is the place to be!

Having just spent 4 nights in this wonderful B&B I can strongly recommend it. Located in a quiet neighbourhood makes this very relaxing and the staff simply cannot do enough for you. Bergamo is a beautiful city and I cannot think of a better place to stay in Bergamo.

You can easily walk to the main attractions and the main train station or take a bus to the latter if you prefer.

Room Tip: We stayed in the suite in the attic which has its own balcony which was perfect of an evening drink...

Myself and a group of friends have just returned from a weekend break at Cece e Simo. We booked a mixture of standard and superior rooms, all of which were lovely. We really enjoyed the self-service continental breakfast. The breakfast room was relaxing and pretty – a great place for us to meet up every morning.

As per the previous comments, it is a bit of a walk into the old town, but there are buses, taxi’s and a funicular if you are feeling lazy. There are some good restaurants and bars in the lower town if you don’t want to venture very far in the evenings.

Miriam and Mattia were as helpful as the previous comments suggest, helping us with travel plans and restaurant/taxi bookings.

I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast, and Bergamo is lovely.

My friend and I came in early January for a very pleasant stay. Immediately we were advised as to where to go for bars, restaurants and sites of interest and how to get there, with the aid of a map. We were really treated with care. The room was tasteful and extremely clean, as is the rest of the B&B, whose décor is perfect for our taste, and I assume many people's. The breakfast was nice, offering a few lovely pastries. We were even permitted to eat breakfast at midday on an occasion when we overslept, which was very accommodating and a pleasant surprise. The spa area was exceedingly relaxing, and I enjoyed chatting in the hot tub, reading my book on the loungers and reclining in the sauna with music of our choice playing. I would highly recommend it to anybody in the area.

Had a most wonderful cozy time in this beautiful B&B, perfect spot to spend time in lower city of Bergamo. Everything is near - in walking distance, also cars and bikes to be rent.

Miriam who runs the place helped me to explore Bergamo region. She is the best tourist adviser in Bergamo - official tourist information staff of Bergamo should learn from Miriam´s devoted attitude, helpfulness and creativity to offer various possibilities and activities within and around Bergamo.

Thank you Miriam, you are a treasure!!!!
