First night in Bergamo and decided to try this place as well recommended on tripadvisor...big plus was it was just round the corner from our B & B too ! Saturday night, hadn't booked but arrived before 8 and no trouble with a table. Very deceptive..looks small from the front but it goes back miles! A few people were already eating...staff very pleasant and attentive, the place seemed exceptionaly well-run . I LOVE pizza and I didn't think I'd ever say this but, there were far too many choices..dozens and dozens !..I had a "zola" and walnut which was delicious..for 4 euros more you can order a "giganteum" whis is massive, however, they have a lovely thin base so not too difficult to polish off. Nice touch in that everyone get a small taster antipasto while waiting for the pizza..a little bruschetta. Ordered wheat beers, just right to go with. After an hour we realised the whole place was rammed and buzzing... as we weren't ordering dolci we did feel a tiny bit hassled to vacate our table. Had to fight our way through the front of house to get out as you couldn't move for people queued up waiting for a table..says it all. I think everyone was mostly Italian apart from us. Went back a second time (booked first) later in week and was just as good.
