Spent 3 nights here. When we got into the room the toilet didn't flush. We had to use a communal toilet in the corridor for the first 2 days. When we told them they said they'd fix it, but the following morning (still not fixed), the rudest receptionist ever accused of us of breaking the toilet when we got to the room. Instead of apologising for us having to use a communal toilet, she very aggressively kept insisting that it was fine when we checked in and we definitely broke it. Shocking rudeness. Avoid!

If you have to stay a night in Ventimiglia (try not to if you can) then this hotel is acceptable. About 5 minutes walk from the train station and a few minutes to the waterfront, we paid 80 euro for a standard double room - nothing fancy but clean. A typical breakfast offering was included in the price.

Background: I was booked into here by family for 5 nights to be close to everything in Ventimiglia as their own places were tiny!
Ventimiglia itself is a wonderful place to visit and stay and is less busy than areas like Sanremo or Monaco, but provides a real view of Italy and how the locals live.

Hotel: The hotel is small probably a step up from a hostel but was very clean and friendly owners. It is located in a quiet street within a 2 min walk to shops, cafes, park, the beach..so location was terrific.
We had room 3 which had a private bathroom and small balcony which looked over typical houses and backyards!

The room had a double bed, wardrobe, the small balcony with table and 2 chairs, TV, shower over bath, basin, toilet and bidet. The toilet is hard to sit on as it is so close to the bathtub...had to sit sideways!

There is a bar and lounge area as well as small breakfast area, however I preffered to have breakfast in the cafe across the road each morning.

The room was serviced every day and fresh sheets and towels each day....service was fast and terrific.

You leave the room key on a board each time you go out which is easy and no issue with safety etc.

The only annoying thing was being able to hear the buzzer ring each time someone entered the building....this is so the owners can see who is coming/going...and after 5 days got on my nerves!
They do speak English and are very helpful however.

Free Wifi is available with the password and login available from reception. Only a couple of drop outs but wifi speed was very fast.

I would definitely stay here again for the location, clean rooms and excellent rate

Room Tip: Room 3 was quiet with private bathroom and authentic balcony view

Small room, but adequate. Short walk to train station which was important. Very Clean. Great Breakfast. Polite desk person..perhaps owner? No elevator, but that was not important. Comfortable bed. Good value.

We stayed here for just one night, being forced to due to inconvenient train connections between France and Italy. This turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Ventimiglia turned out to be a locewly introduction to Italy, and the hotel was equally delightful.

The hotel was very clean and well organised, with nicely polished tiled floors, and somewhat spartan furnishings. The rooms are not appointed with showers, instead each floor has two separate WC/shower rooms, so this is not a hotel for the luxury-oriented. But this is reflected in the hotel price.

A plus point for us: we had to leave early to catch the first train to Pisa, the hotel organised a breakfast satchel to bring on board the train. Great service.
