“beautiful church”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

We got to see the statue that they take around the town for the feast day complete with canopy and poles for carrying it. The square is a nice place to wander around, lots of little shops.

“A lovely baroque style interior that was a surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012 via mobile

This is a lovely church in the heart of this lovely boat ride away from Portofino. Surprising and serene with much to see in such a small area. Somehow I expected something much more like the old Churches in Umbrian villages instead of this glorious old world church with its opulent decor, statues, stain glass and ceilings. It's right in the main square so a must do when on this lovely, lively island. Btw, it's very much a "working" church which lends to its charm. You can light real candles here which makes it extra special. Take your shawl or cover your shuoulders as they are pretty strict about that for ladies. After the church, stroll through this lovely Italian seaside town which is much less picturesque but far more real than neighboring Portofino.

“Beautiful church - Don't miss it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2012

Very ornate, paintings on ceilings and walls, crystal chandeliers. This is definitely one to see if you love pretty things! Like a little Sistine Chapel!
