This hotel is beautifully located overlooking the ocean and adjacent to a great town centre with restaurants , banks ,shops etc.
It is an ideal base from which to explore the Cinque Terra , Portofino , and other lovely attractions
The rooms are apartment size , spotless and with all the amenities one could desire.
The staff are very friendly and could not have been more helpful with tourist information and generally making our stay most enjoyable. Great breakfasts were included in our tariff.

Just returned from Italy with a group. One of our stays included this lovely hotel. Location was excellent! My view of the sea was beautiful and the staff were all exceptional. Have to give a shout out to the bartender, Lilly. She was one of the most super ladies I met on this trip. Her kindness and conversation were welcomed after a full day of sightseeing. Being on a tour, the breakfast was good with plenty of choices.

Room Tip: My room did not have a balcony. See if you can request upon arrival.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was in a great location and we just walked across the street to the beach. I highly recommend rent a cabana for 30 euro a day. It was a lot of fun! Our room did not have a balcony and if I ever get back I would stay at Lido again but request a room with a balcony. This hotel does not have a lot of bells and whistles but it is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Yes it has a lot of stairs but there is an elevator for the main hauls. We took the elevator to the 4th floor then walked down about 6 stairs to our room. It was fine! All and all a very good value!

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony if you can!

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Clean, great location. They upgraded us to a sea view room. When you wake up in your bed, you see the beautiful beach. The room also had a balcony. Very spacious ans clean room as well. breakfast was good too. Close to beach, ferry and bus to portofino, restaurants. Reception was very friendly and helpful in guiding. They recommended a very nice restaurant. Everyone speak good english. I would stay again.

This hotel is centrally located and does have all the amenities it advertises, but it is just not nice. Our suite did have two rooms, five steps down from the hall, one step down thru the door, three steps down to the bathroom, four steps up to the bedroom. I must have tripped 10 times in two days. Furniture was rough and threadbare. Uncomfortable bed and linen. The "beach" across the street was gravel. Staff was very nice and helpful.

We visited last week for three nights. We stayed on the third floor in a room with a beautiful view of the sea.
The hotel has a very central location. Some rooms have a small terrace while others do not (ours did not). The front windows open up completely.
The design of the hotel requires you to walk down twelve stairs or so to get to your room. Inside the room, you must walk down a few stairs to the level of the bathroom and back up a few stairs to the level of the bedroom (in the rear with a window facing the street in back).
Breakfast is the standard fare. The front desk is very helpful.
The hotel does not have their own beach. The beach across the street is public. Or, you can reserve chairs, umbrella, and towels at the private concession just next to the public beach. The cost was 35 Euros for the day. Keep that in mind if you are a daily beach lover.
We found free parking for the first two nights for our car. The third day was Friday market day, so we needed to park down the street in their garage for 20 Euros.
I would like to try a hotel with its own pool and/or beach next time, but the price may be higher o they may charge extra for the use of the chairs and beach anyway.

Room Tip: The room design in the hotel is odd because of the stairs in the hallway and the stairs inside the a...

The decor in the Lido Palace is a little bit dated but not worn or dirty in any way. We stayed in a suite which was fantastic, big bedroom, separate living room down a couple of stairs and medium sized bathroom with a great range of toiletries. The balcony overlooked the sea and beach, great. Also a fantastic location for the town, being right on the front.
