We recently had a 5 day visit to the Cinque Terre area and stayed in La Spezia. During this period we had dinner at Il Ristorantino Di Bayon. Di Bayon provided us with a restaurant experience that we are still talking about. We also recommended it to fellow Australians we met at our La Spezia Hotel and their experience was exactly the same as ours. This is a two person establishment and runs so very smoothly with food that will delight your palate, service that is so very friendly and efficient. We had 3 courses with complimentary appetisers, two glasses of great quality house wine and our Bill came to 56 Euros. It would have cost at least double for a similar standard meal in Australia and that would not have included any wine. Our experience was such that we went back two nights late and it was just as good. Congratulations Il Bayon - your food is "to die for".
