Description: Situated in the pedestrian area, close to the "Museo Amedeo Lia", (a true gem, with a collection of more than 1200 works and pieces from the ancient Rome, to the middle age and the 18th century) and to the always animated market of Piazza Cavour, our restaurant is in one of the oldest buildings of the city centre, and has an entrance in a typical "vicolo", a tiny alley beetwen the buildings. In a completely renewed ambient we strive to serve the best of what our territory has to offer, fish, mussels and other crustaceans we buy everyday, and cheese and meat from few trusted local suppliers. Our menu reflects our love for the traditional ligurian cuisine, from traditional kind of pasta, to vegetable soups and pies, and anchovies, octopus and much, much more! We'll always have something suitable for vegetarians (and vegans, too!) Our cellar has the majority of wines from all the Liguria, to the renowned Pigato and Vermentino to others less known but worthy of a try! Last but not least, we strive to offer our services at a fair price, and to make our guests spend the most pleasant moments at our tables,

We dined at this establishment on multiple nights of our one week trip to La Spezia. The staff were terrific and the food was amazing. We spent hours sitting, eating, enjoying long conversations with our family. Our son has severe peanut allergies and the accommodated him with no problem, going the extra mile to create dishes for him that he could eat and especially enjoy. I highly recommend this restaurant, we truly loved the delicious authentic Italian dishes, the atmosphere and the truly fantastic staff!

Restaurant was good! Had the gnocchi with the catch of the day which was crab and it was very good! Reasonably priced for that area! Have lots of good seafood available. We thought the service was fine, just understand that you are in Italy and service is more relaxed and different but that doesn’t mean it’s bad

Arrived slightly after 7 pm and were told that without reservations, we would be in their alley seating (instead of the outdoor space on the street or inside).

I ordered ravioli with a meat sauce, my wife got mussels and oysters served over linguini. We both ordered a side salad. Food was good but we had to ask for the oil and balsamic vinegar. Service was a bit on the slow side and I felt we were being a hindrance eating there without reservations (we were not alone, there were at least five other tables occupied in the alley).

A decent experience but it doesn’t evoke an emotion to go back for another try.

We visited Cinque Terra with my wife and my son during 2 days staying in La Spezia. We were recommended this restaurant by the concierge of our hotel. What a deception !!! We all 3 ordered a beef fillet, or what was supposed to be a beef fillet (no way). It was a magma of greasy and elastic flesh...
I do not recommend anyone to eat beef fillet at this place. It was awful.
Even the service was not up to standard.
A really bad experience

There was one table left outside which we asked if we could have. The waiter said no and ignored us when we asked if it was reserved and said only inside tables were available. He proceeded to point at a few tables which we could choose from. After this, he rushed to another couple behind us and offered them the table. Needless to say we walked immediately. Never been treated like this before. Horrendous!
