“Well situated for travelling the Ligurian coast and Genova!”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

We stayed here on a stop over from Nice to Geneva! Very smart hotel idea for sight seeing on the coast or in the city of Genova, which is a 15 min bus ride away!
The room was large and comfortable, very clean and well appointed.
Breakfast excellent, self service buffet hot and cold.
Would defiantly stay again.

We stayed in this hotel one night prior to a Mediterranean cruise. The hotel was part of the package deal and we had no say in its choice.
I can’t say it was particularly well-located as compared to the Genoa airport or the Genoa cruise terminal, or the centre of the city for that matter. It’s probably good if you are driving. However, there was a good seafood restaurant within easy walking distance (the restaurant was booked by hotel reception for us – it was quite busy – an Italian Sunday afternoon, with large extended families having long, leisurely lunches). There is also a Coop (supermarket), coffee shop and pharmacy (among other small shops) close by.
The hotel was nice. The staff was friendly and the rooms well-appointed rooms and clean. Breakfast was a fairly extensive, cold buffet.
It was a fine hotel – no problems here (except perhaps the location, depending what you want).

The hotel itself was decorated very well. The room was comfortable, but nothing special for the price and 4 stars. We went for the Genoa Boat Show. There was a shuttle service offered by the hotel to the show, which is why we picked that hotel. The shuttle never showed up and we were waiting for over 40 minutes, as were other people. We went in to ask the concierge to call the shuttle and she said that she didn't have the number and didn't know where the shuttle was. She dismissed us immediately and we ended up taking a taxi.
The night before, I asked for a recommendation for a good sushi restaurant. The same concierge handed me a business card that was not a sushi restaurant. She said she didn't know any sushi restaurants.
The "Turkish Bath" was hidden upstairs in a room the size of a closet with no area to change, no fresh towels...not a relaxing experience by any means.
Just overall a disappointing experience mainly because the customer service was not what it should have been at all!

Room Tip: I imagine all the bathrooms are the same, but in case they are not, recommend a room with a full sho...

Booked the hotel for a business trip, two days were two days too long. Room was ok but no coffee or tea making, for a four star @ €195 per night I would have loved a coffe in the am. Breakfast basic, dinner in the restaurant was very restricted, a choice of four starters and four mains (went to the supermarket on second night), also area is not very nice, I would not feel safe walking around.... Sorry but I would not stay again

Spacious, well decorated and very comfortable room.
Beautiful bathroom. Only down side, was the glass door between the bathroom and the room itself (with a fairly big gap as well). Not a big issue, but it could certainly be annoying.
Breakfast was very good, varied and all the staff is nice. Easy parking.

I stayed in this hotel twice with my girlfriend for diving trips in Summer 2013. Rooms are great and look much more luxurious than the price I paid them through booking dot com. For the same price the average quality of Hotels in the city, for my experience, was massively lower.

The rooms are clean, well silenced and fancy. The toilets are luxurious. Service is good; breakfast is great for international standards, good for italian standards. They check for room number and name for access to the breakfast room.

There is a little SPA in the hotel, which we didn't check out – we chose to invest our time in the beatiful sea just out there.

Compare the location with your needs. You probably need a car to get there; otherwise train (the one crossing the beautiful Ligurian coast) can be reached on foot in some 10 minutes. Parking can be found more easily in the road in front than the square underneath, then 3 minutes on foot to the hotel.

They have a cool futuristic electric basculating car for 2 persons to rent. Price is 70€/day but in my understanding can be slightly negotiated.

Excellent hotel- nice rooms, clean bathrooms, great breakfast. Will come back if I ever need to go again to Genova. Location is not perfect but is convenient for car travelling - not near downtown but close to the coast,
