Unaccustomed to traveling in Italy, and having absolutely no Ideal of the language, I was so relieved all the staff could speak English. We are so backwards when it comes to speaking other languages. The Hotel was very quiet due to the time of year visiting (mid December) and arriving late on a Sunday so I think there were 2 other guests which made the stay a little flat in atmosphere; more people arrived later in the week probably for a weekend break. My room was a little small but adequate and clean and comfortable nice size bathroom with some strange looking bowl thing maybe for washing your feet.(Grin).Nice powerful shower and the usual complimentary items. There was a small terrace with table and chairs probably great in the summer but not much use in the gale swept days I stayed(sigh)Mini bar was well stocked and the free WiFi was good and reliable.Outside was very nice with large trees and a nice lawn and good parking. The area the Hotel is situated in is very quiet and you get to it via a tree lined avenue.

We stayed one night on our way between Cinque Terre and the Genoa airport. The hotel is one block from the train station, Nervi gardens, and Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi a Nervi. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the terrace before dinner. The room had a small terrace of its own.

Room Tip: Room facing the front garden

This hotel is a small hotel and a gem. It is clean, the breakfast is wonderful, an the staff so helpful. We have used this hotel numerous times when we are in Genoa for work and happily return each time.

Great breakfast with good cappuccino!. Comfortable room. Friendly reception. Wifi works. Perfect location for walking along the beautiful boardwalk or into the town of Nervi. Someone was at the front desk 24 hours.

This is a well positioned hotel for exploring the Ligurian coast. It's only a very short walk to the train station, which is a good mode of transport for visiting all of those gorgeous coastal towns from the Cinque Terre to Genova. If the train isn't your thing, there is paid parking at the hotel if you have a car.

The hotel itself is OK, but the rooms need some major refurbishment.

The service was good in some instances and only OK in others. It really depended on who was on the front desk at the time. It was more consistent in the restaurant.

We had dinner at the hotel one evening when it was too late to go out and explore other options and the food was good. The breakfast selection was quite good - make sure to try a piece of focaccia!!!
