Value for money.

Opposite the Genova Brignole railway station. Trains to Cinque Terre within 1.5 hours or more. Velobus outside the train station to Genoa Airport. Good location.

Rooms are clean and neat. Good size with minibar. 4 Euros per day for room internet.

breakfast is good - fruits, cereals, juice, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and pastries.

If you consider a short stay in Genova to explore the city and the Ligurian coast, Star Hotel President would be a good choice.

This modern hotel is a glass skyscraper, conveniently located next to Brignole railway station and few minutes from the city centre and the old town. You can get everywhere on foot and there is a great choice of transport links to the city centre and the coast.

The rooms are clean and functional, good service and buffet breakfast with a view to the city. The hotel staff is somewhat aloof but polite and correct. Good value for money, recommended.

We stayed in a 3 bed room. The air conditioning was loud, but not coo at all.
tips: careful with the bathroom door. it will easiky lock you our of there. Thankfully, the room KEY opens the door.

special mention to Gino. . . wonderful gentleman, was our dinner server, our bwrtwnder, and helped us to get the window open. Always with a smile, a new Italian phrase to learn, and licorice candies in his pocket!
