our hotel arranged for a table here when our first choice was too busy. the lonely planet guide had it listed as $$$ and we wanted something simple and not too cher, but this turned out to be pretty delightful, and not expensive, either. we had all the local specialities, pasta in hazlenut sauce, squid stew, pesto- all delicious. service was friendly and very helpful in explaining the dishes. my husband remarked that even though we were in a rather small dining room and it was very full, there was a lovely calm about the place. i wish we'd had more time to explore the neighborhood before the shops closed. it really looked interesting.
