We recently stayed in Genoa a local resident whom my daughter spoke to suggested we dine here as it was frequented by the local community. located in the old town it was a real find. As the lady said it was frequented by locals who were friendly as was the owner and staff, we were seated promptly and after a few minutes drinks were ordered, a local "Italian" Prosecco was recommended by the owner. Food orders were taken swiftly and we all selected local specialties when presented it was done professionally, the food was hot from the kitchen and of excellent quality . We could not fault it. The desserts were perfect. The ambiance of the old building, the owner, staff and other diners made it a great experience. cant fault it and didnt think it was that expensive for four persons.

A Genovese couple on my flight to Genoa recommended this restaurant to me when they heard I was only in town for the one evening and was looking for a restaurant with contemporary regional cooking - and I am glad that they did. I had an amazing meal - very meat-centric but that says more about my choices than the range of food on the menu. The food wasn't overly fussy, but great flavours were given space to shine through. Lots of lovely touches - the wine bottle on the table when you order a glass, the breads brought to the table in little paper bags - and a great front-of-house service. All in all, thoroughly recommended.

In Genova's down town, nice location with a selection of high quality products. Staff's courtesy is good, the price is not so cheap but good relation between quality and price

Typycal restourant ,just inside of the Genoa's Hystorical Center, not so far from C.Colunbus borning house.
Stone wall, warm ambient, wide choise of Italian, regional, food ,including ,of couse "Pasta" but arranged wery well, giving a special good ,and sometime innovative touch.
Wide choice of meat, excellent quality, the wide range of "Tartare" are fantastic,
The service is efficent,good,
you can stay at the table,to discus also after a goog "espesso" without problem.
The range of offer is more than enought,Food quality ,always good.
Wine choise wide
Price in line with quality...of couse, but average..good range quality and cost.
Clean
To be suggested, fore business ,and also a nice dinner......
Just a must!

We passed by this restaurant while walking through the city centre. We found it so cosy that we decided to come back for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. The waiter presented the daily specials in English or French. This restaurant is a typical restaurant for locals, but even if you do not speak Italian, this is not a big problem.
