This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. It was described as a small, local eatery which served excellent pizza in an authentic Genoa cafe atmosphere at reasonable prices. They were right on every count.
The service was great (especially as they could manage only a few words of English). The starter (generous serving of prosciutto and melon) arrived promptly and was delicious. It came along with a basket of very nice breads. The recommended wine was very pleasant - and at 18 Euro very reasonably priced. The pizzas were just terrific. We have enjoyed many pizzas over the last 3 weeks in Italy, but these we definitely he best. Thin, light and crispy base, with well balanced toppings that were rich in flavour.
If we had stayed another night in Genoa, we would have been back for more.
